Owners of various Samsung phones may be pleased to receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo this spring. Indications for this are provided by a page in Turkey named ” Güncel Miyiz ” which deals specifically with Android updates. The release plan for the smartphones applies only to Turkey, but still leaves hope that Samsung will soon play the update in other European countries.
According to Güncel Miyiz, the launch is the Galaxy Note 8. There, the update is expected to be played on 30 March. This is followed by Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on April 13th. Last but not least there will be the update for Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017). The date is given for the 25th of May. The update is also available for the Galaxy A7, also from 25 May, but this smartphone Samsung has not brought in Germany on the market.
